MAGDALENE ENO UDOBI, PhD
Magdalene Eno Udobi (née Effiong) is a native of Cross River State, Nigeria, and was born on the 6th day of February. She hails from the vibrant Efik ethnic group and has distinguished herself as an educator, biochemist, and researcher with an unrelenting passion for science, education, and youth empowerment. Her academic journey began with excellence and consistency, culminating in top-class distinctions throughout her education.
She earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry with First Class Honours from Salem University, Lokoja, where she emerged as the Second Best Graduating Student in the entire University. She proceeded to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Chemistry Education) with Distinction from the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna. Her pursuit of excellence led her to the University of Ibadan, where she obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry with a Distinction, finished as the top student.
She later earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry from Covenant University, with Distinction, achieving the highest possible academic classification.
Magdalene has over ten years of impactful teaching experience at various educational levels. She has taught in award-winning schools, where she received multiple laurels for excellence in teaching. A Certified Cambridge International Educator for IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and AS and A Levels in Chemistry, she also holds a Microsoft Certified Educator (MCE) credential and is a registered professional teacher with the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN). She is passionate about using 21st-century learning designs and digital technology to improve educational outcomes for learners at all levels.
In addition to her classroom excellence, Dr. Udobi is a founding member of The Science Chef Academy, where she rose through the ranks to become a Partner and Lead Tutor.
Through this platform, she has creatively combined her love for science with hands-on practical education for learners across the globe. Her outstanding contributions to science and education have earned her several prestigious awards, including the UNESCO-L’Oréal For Women in Science Fellowship (2024), World Bank CApIC-ACE Ph.D. Research Grant (2021), Carnegie-Covenant University Scholarship (2025), Coimbra Group International Scholarship Award (2025), Promotion of Women-in-STEM Award (2025), and the Nigerian Academy of Science Mentorship Award (2023). She is a proud member of several professional bodies including the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR), Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB), American College of Toxicology (ACT), and the Environment and Safety Management Institute (ESMI), Nigeria.
Dr. Udobi is happily married and blessed with a beautiful daughter.
TOLULEKE MORUF AYANDA
Toluleke Moruf Ayanda is a native of Oro Kingdom, Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. He was born on the 8th October in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
He began his education at Army Children School III, 321 Artillery Brigade Barracks, Alamala, Abeokuta, Ogun State where he won awards for his academic excellence, dedication and exemplary leadership. He had his secondary education at Command Secondary School, Apata, Ibadan. He later proceeded to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) for a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry and finished with a second class upper. His undying love for knowledge, value adding, capacity building and research drove him to bag a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in biochemistry with Cancer Research and Molecular Biology as his research interest.
Toluleke has about 18 years of experience in the education sector teaching at basic, secondary and post-secondary levels.
At the moment, he is a biology teacher who also teaches chemistry with ease based on his training as a biochemist. His passion for education keeps growing with time. This zeal must have driven him to pursue a postgraduate diploma in education. He is an ardent believer of academic excellence
and stops at nothing in ensuring that his students achieve this feat. He believes strongly that a teacher is also a mentor, role model, counselor and motivator.
Today, he has many of his students doing very well in their different endeavors of life. He also has experience in teaching international students and preparing them for examinations like CIAE, Pearson EDXCEL, OCR, AP and IB at both ordinary and advanced level. He is happily married to his beautiful and supportive wife, Oluwatosin and their union is blessed with a son, Diekoloreoluwa.
GLORIA OBABUEKI
Gloria O. Obabueki is enthusiastic and resilient, with a strong commitment to excellence and continuous learning. Gloria hails from the ancient city of Benin, Edo State.
She is a Production Engineering graduate from the University of Benin, a Microsoft Certified Educator, and an emerging IT Administrator with proven leadership, interpersonal, technical and organizational abilities.
A dedicated and versatile professional with a diverse background spanning manufacturing, education, and Information Technology. She previously served as an Assistant Supervisor at Intercontinental Distilleries Limited, where she oversaw manpower coordination and production activities. Transitioning into education, she worked as a Science teacher at The Ambassador Schools, preparing students for entrance examinations and delivering lessons aligned with both the Cambridge and Nigerian curricula. Currently, she works as an online tutor while actively developing her IT skills.
OLUWASEYI OLABODE
Oluwaseyi Olabode hails from Totoro in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of Ogun State, Nigeria. Born on the 12th of February, he began his educational journey at Otun International School, where he completed both his Nursery and Primary education. He later attended Remo Divisional High School for his secondary education.
Driven by a passion for teaching and learning, he proceeded to Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, where he earned a Second Class Upper Honours degree (B.Sc. Ed) in Mathematics Education.
With nearly two decades of teaching experience, Oluwaseyi has successfully trained numerous students for both local and international examinations, including WAEC, JAMB, IGCSE (O' & A' Levels), SAT, GRE, and GMAT. He has also prepared students for prestigious Olympiad competitions in Mathematics and Informatics.
His excellence in teaching has earned him multiple accolades, such as the *Best Mathematics Teacher* award by Our Generation Foundation (OGF), among others.
A strong advocate for borderless and transformative learning, Oluwaseyi promotes the integration of digital technology in education to enhance classroom experiences and empower learners to explore their creative and intellectual potential.
He is happily married to his beautiful wife and is a proud father of two lovely daughters.
SUNDAY ISMAIL
Sunday Ismail is a resourceful and passionate tutor of this generation. He was born in December 1984 and hails from Osun State but lives in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is a lover of Education. This propels him into the atmosphere of children where he nurtures minds in order to bring out the best in them via a suitable pedagogical styles that hover around student-centered learning.
Needful to say, he is a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Management and Technology Enugu where he bagged Higher National Diploma. Also, he studied Chemistry/Physics from Lagos State College of Education where he obtained National Certificate in Education. This wealth of knowledge has been in use in the field of Education for a period of not less than 9 years that has enabled him to bring the dreams of children into realities of experience with a lot of achievements and successes.
His quest for knowledge made him to undergo numerous training/certification such as IGCSE Chemistry, Child Right and Safeguarding Policy, TPACK UNESCO Digital Teaching Module Certification, TPACK UNESCO Chemistry Teaching Module, Int’l Global Leadership Training Certification & AFRIHUB (Excel, Power point, & Microsoft)
He is a member of the Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria(TRCN).
He is also a two-time recipient of the NMC Olympiad Best Chemistry Tutor award (2023 & 2024), amongst other awards.
PHILOMEN BUNMI ODUNFA
Philomen Bunmi Odunfa (Nee Owoade) is a native of Ejigbo in Ejigbo Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria. Born on 18th May in the 90’s in Ejigbo town but partly grew up in Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana.
She began her education at Baptist Day School, Marcory, Cote d'Ivoire; where she obtained a Primary School Leaving Certificate, and then proceeded to Kasipe International Memorial School, Sampa, Ghana for her Junior Secondary School. From there she joined the Sunyani Senior Secondary School, Sunyani, Ghana; where she obtained her Secondary School Leaving Certificate. She furthered her studies to the University of Ilorin for her tertiary education, where she graduated with a 2nd Class Upper in French Language and other European Languages.
She has over 10 years experience teaching French Language in secondary schools and colleges of education.
Philomen is a passionate and adorable teacher who believes in every child's unique potentials. She is willing to try the extra miles to help her students achieve their aims despite teaching a different language that seems difficult to her learners.
Philomen, has taken many certified programs to keep her abreast with the developments in the educational sector. She is a certified IGCSE French as a Foreign Language examiner.
She is not just a teacher but, also a drama queen, who has presented her students for drama presentations nationwide.
She has experience in teaching the Nigerian and international curricular like the British & Canadian syllabi.
Philomen is happily married to a wonderful man, and their marriage is blessed with a beautiful princess.
